Origin: The earliest records of the Kyuuketsuki clan were from Kusagakure; however, it was from another village before this. There are no records of the clan in other villages, making the clans Origins a mystery, even to its members. It was once a feared clan; not only by enemies, but by the village they served as well. This was due to the clans bloodline ability. Because of their ability, many people believed them to be “Vampires”, so they became outcasts. They were forced to move outside of the village, into a large compound constructed for them in the middle of a forest. As time went on, the Kyuuketsuki clan grew weary of Kusagakure, and soon they discovered that Kusagakure were planning on attacking the clan and wipe them out. The furious Kyuuketsuki clan decided to take the fight to Kusagakure. However, the clan stood no chance against all of the shinobi from Kusagakure, and, eventually lost. Few members of the clan survived the battle. Kusagakure declared that the Kyuuketsuki clan had attempted a coup d’état. Hundreds of years later, the Kyuuketsuki clan is all but wiped out. Several members are living quietly in new villages, keeping their abilities and pasts hidden from the public, and living on. It is believed that the Compound is still being used by some of the members to this very day. Members of the clan can be recognised by the abnormally large and sharp canine teeth, and the red coloured eyes.

Kekkei Genkai: The Kekkei Genkai of the Kyuuketsuki clan is the ability to stop the aging process and extend their own life. All members of the clan have abnormally large canine teeth. These teeth are used to bite into humans to drink their blood. Doing so extends the clan members life, and stops their body aging. It also gives the clan member increased physical strength, to above human levels. The clan member becomes weaker the longer they don’t drink the blood of a human. They can last two or three days without drinking the blood of a human and maintain their extended life and strength. If they wait longer than that period of time, the clan member would revert back or mortality, and loose their inhuman strength. The extended life of the clan member only stops the aging process of the member’s body, and gives immunity of disease. The clans members can be killed in combat.

Kekkei Genkai: Hateshiganai

States: ?

Effects: Grants the clan member an extended life span, allowing them to live much longer and preventing death from age and immunity to diseases, and grants the clan member inhuman strength. If the member does not feed for a maximum of three days, the effects of Hateshiganai will begin fading away, making the member becomes weaker and weaker. This could result in a member’s death. The Hareshiganai does not protect the clans members from being killed in battle.
